Relationships, or is it Relationshits?

Oh relationships! You feel lucky when you're in one but you also have those crappy points when you fight or just don't like each other anymore. I see a couples who have broken up who should be together and stay together, but there are also those couples who I see together who should just end their relationship. I like to see opposites attract, but not TOO opposite. I do admit that I am secretly jealous of those couples who are just too adorable and make me want to puke . . . hey, everyone deserves a happy ending. I also see couples who are dealing with the long distance thing and I think that it's awesome that they are keeping their relationships strong. But I knew this one girl who lived about three or so hours away from home and was homesick 24/7. She was homesick enough to have her boyfriend drive up to visit her almost every single weekend or she would drive home to see him. When a boyfriend interferes with your college life like that, I say end it. I mean come on, he's only three hours away and you can call him and he will most likely answer the phone when he sees that it's you that's calling him. But all I'm trying to get out is that some people should be in a relationship or they are in a relationshit.

PS: The construction for the new Native American Building has started. I hate construction and especially for this building. I have nothing against Native Americans, but they already have a building (well kind of it's a house) and the building is taking away most of the Oval (which is full on bullshit). If they build a Native American building, where is the Peruvian Building or Caucasian Building or African-American building? Just thought that I would ask.

Oh so the busy week comes to an end. . . finally.

This week has been hell! Too many things due and so much to still work on. I have a Research paper for English due on Monday and it has to be 2,000 to 3,000 words and I only have a little over 1,500 words. So stressful! I don't like have to research, but it is nice to learn something new about the topic that I'm working on. I also had a Photojournalism assignment, that was overly stressful, due that I was VERY nervous about. But I have also had two pretty decent grades on the last two assignments that I turned it, thank goodness. I also had a History test last Friday (okay), an Economics test (God kill me now) last Friday as well, and I also had a Physical Geography test (blah) this Wednesday. I hate tests and they always screw over my grade. I'm only good with assignments and extra credit things, not test. Why can't college be easy for once in my life?
There is also a football game this weekend. It's UM vs. ISU and I am hoping that UM can crush ISU, even though ISU is 0-6 in the Big Sky Conference and 0-10 overall. I'm really excited to go to another game with Lacey, I think that it's her third game for her entire college career, and we're meeting up with Kelsey and a few of her friends as well. I am really excite. Oh! Kelsey also wants to get Cat/Griz tickets at NINE IN THE MORNING!!! Tickets go on sale at six that evening and she wants to get in line early so that we can insure that we get tickets. Wow, a lot of stuff has happened this week. Oh joy! Well, I think that all of this is enough for one day.

Congratulations President Barack Obama

Barack Obama is the new president of the United States of America. He will be sworn in on January 20, 2009 along with Senator Joseph Biden. Obama won Ohio, which is the state that many Republicans can't win without, and Virginia. I am proud to say that I voted for Obama and I am happy that I voted for change. America needs change and he will bring us change. You can go on any news website and find articles on this historic election. If I was to post links to the articles I think that there might be too many links. Senator McCain also called to congratulate Obama along with our current president, George W. Bush. To everyone that voted either Republican or Democrat, thank you for voting because this would have been a historic election no matter who won. I was on Facebook practically all day today and yesterday and I can tell you that I am sick of people belittling me for who I chose for president or saying that I'm not educated enough about the war to talk about it. Now all we can do as Americans is wait to see what change will be brought to us this next year. Good night and good luck.

Tuesday, November 4, 2008

I hope that everyone remembers to go out and vote on that day. Every vote counts and I really want to see who comes out with a victory. No matter who wins, this will be a landmark election. The United States of America will either be getting the first African-American president or the first woman vice president. In so many other countries there are women vice presidents, but why not in America? I am personally rooting for Barack Obama, but I am a woman who would have been ecstatic to see a woman as president. But let's not get into an argument over which political party is better or who would run this country better, but we should remember that we have the choice in who our next president is going to be. We shouldn't let the SNL jokes or anything else decide who we want as president because it is our choice. Go vote!

Welcome!

Welcome news readers! I'm Rosa and I am a Pre-Photojournalism student. I've been attending the University of Montana since Fall 2007 I thought that I would let you all in on how my life is going up in Zoo Town. I might be ranting at points, but I will be talking about how my life is and also some things that I find newsworthy. I hope you enjoy! Have fun.

XOXO,
Rosa
